Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule has been running successfully for more than two weeks and doesn’t seem to stop anytime soon. The mass entertainer has been receiving love from all corners for its storyline, acting and excellent screenplay. Amid controversy, Pushpa 2 gets shoutout from Aditya Chopra’s YRF for smashing records.

The official X handle of Yash Raj Films posted a message on Monday evening, which read, “Records are meant to be broken and new ones push everyone towards excellence. Congratulations to the entire #Pushpa2TheRule team for rewriting history books. Fire nahi, Wildfire (not a fire, but a wildfire)!!!!” Arjun responded by writing on X, “Thank you … so graceful . Humbled by your wishes. Thank you , I am touched . May this record soon be broken by a heart-melting #YRF film , and may we all collectively move towards excellence.” To not, Pushpa has managed to break records of Pathaan. The upcoming YRF film expected to emerge winner includes War 2.

Talking about Pushpa 2, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. The film has wreaked havoc at the box office within 3 weeks of release. Globally the film has amassed over Rs 1300 crore and it has also emerged as highest grossing Hindi film. Amid success, the film and actor Allu Arjun have been in legal trouble. This happened after a lady named Revathi, 38-year-old lost her life due to stampede situation at Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad. Her son was also hospitalised and the family filed case against actor and authorities. Allu Arjun was even arrested and was granted interim bail. A few days back, his house was also vandalised by protestors.
